Cavern is a captivating dungeon crawler that pays homage to genre classics like Rogue and Nethack, while also establishing its own unique game world that sets it apart from existing roguelikes. The game truly offers a fresh and exciting experience with randomly generated levels, guaranteeing that no two games will ever be the same.

Set in a world where the surface dwellers strive for a luxurious lifestyle sustained by unearthed ancient treasures, the depths of the caves are home to malevolent creatures from the abyss. The surface inhabitants managed to keep these creatures at bay with the power of the enigmatic Mystery Object. However, tragedy strikes as the creatures of the deep successfully steal the Mystery Object and retreat to the deepest levels of the Cavern. As the Hero, your mission is to reclaim the object before its powers are turned against the Surface!
